The SSI’s long-awaited, postponed exhibition is now due to open at the mall gallery, London, 31st January for 2 weeks. I have 2 pieces to be shown there.
We’ve all had to adapt, so I’m enjoying being able to teach from home without the travelling! though it’s tough for us all missing the informal chat and the sharing of work.
I’m entering for the Society of Scribes & Illuminators 100 year birthday exhibition in London which we hope can open in February.

I’m giving a talk tomorrow night at Snape Maltings, at the Letter Arts Trust gallery.
6th -9th September 2017, www.progresstheatre.co.uk put on the 6 winning entries, 6 short plays that vary from gender issues to the purpose of Puragtory in a secular world…
I wrote on the foyer wall and hung some small pieces, using the plays and also some Hamlet quotes as that’s coming in October.
I’ve had a good clear-out in my workroom and replaced the lampshade with a B&Q paper one, felt it needed some lettering on it!
‘In Concert’ exhibition – letterers were asked to contribute a piece which brought together music and lettering, here’s a section of my entry. The exhibion is on until November 2017 I think.
